Why are translations frequently in a hurry? For translators, urgent translations are a daily occurrence. A translation deadline is always tomorrow, if not yesterday, for the following reasons

4.   Since time equals money

The vast majority of translations performed globally are for commercial purposes. But market sanity dictates that we waste no time. Commercial requirements dictate that financial report translations must be completed immediately if they are urgently needed to support decision-making.

5.   Because urgency results from competition

This commercial logic holds true for translation agencies as well: in modern times, no translation agency can turn down an urgent translation. They are essential to the operation of the company. A translation company that is unable to work quickly would be disqualified.
